The Petri Dish Project was the sophomore album by legendary music composer and rock artist, Ashu Phatak. A mix of sounds and songs that had been incubating over two years. The music was a mash up of electronic rock, trip hop, dub and pop. It was to be experimental in sound and format, and decidedly for a high energy audience.
The tracks were a trip, and after hearing the edgy experimental sounds with acoustic and electronic vibes, and the bizzare but honest lyrics, we knew immediately that decibel levels on the design and art on this project should be considerably higher than normal; The mad scientist, Alice in Wonderland and Morticia Addams were reinvented in a more psychedelic form.
