The British Council approached us to design their annual Calendar. They had commissioned Marius Hansen to photograph 12 personalities from each of their different centers.
Our brief was to use these portraits and create a calendar that communicated the pan India presence of the British Council.
We decided to use local vernacular scripts to represent the centers. 12 sets of bilingual typography design worked with the images to provide the context and texture of the regional language, and celebrated the cultural significance of the personalities and partnerships.
