Rabia Gupta, Founder & Principal Designer
Rabia is one of the pioneers of Strategic Graphic Design in India. A product of Wesleyan University, Georgia, USA and NID, Ahmedabad, she has set benchmarks within this Industry with effective and culturally valid designs for over 2 decades. Rabia’s work is conceptual, original and always contextual.
Her consultancy’s landmark projects include Verve Magazine, Dabhol Power, Invision Air, Good Earth, Magic Bus, True School of Music, Bluefrog, Sula Wines, to name a few.
Rabia has won several awards globally and has been featured in many leading publications such as the Times Group (India), The Eye (UK), Business World and Elle-Décor. The consultancy’s work has been published in numerous International design books. Rabia represented India at The World Creative Forum (London, UK, 2003), and was the sole Indian delegate at ICOGRADA (Brisbane, Australia, 2011). She has been a jurist and panelist at several reputed award shows and Industry forums, and lectures at design schools and forums across the country.
Suranjan Das, Strategy & Development
Suranjan has over two decades of experience in marketing, advertising and branding. He has successfully led many businesses and was at last call the COO at the True School of Music (TSM), Mumbai, India’s first comprehensive institute of contemporary music. Prior to that he was Executive Director at M&C Saatchi India, member of the largest independent communications network in the world.
He has in the past served as Senior Vice President, JWT India, Managing Partner, JWT Fortune (JWT Group) and COO at ADK-Fortune (a JV between JWT and Asatsu-DK), Japan. He was a member of the JWT South Asia Executive Committee between 2006-09. His brand and marketing expertise along with his deep interests in the arts and culture, adds a fresh and vital dimension to rgd.
